Ezra stepped back slightly, “So… you believe me?”
Will shrugged, “You’ve never given me a reason not to, and I’m guessing that you don’t go around confessing to many people that you’re a Vampire?”
Ezra shook her head slightly as he continued, “So you’re a Vampire?”
Ezra nodded slowly as Will scratched the back of his head which she learned was a sign that he was nervous.

Ezra mirrored his smile, and Will closed the distance between them. Slowly his hand raised to cup her cheek. His thumb smoothing over her pale skin. Ezra’s eyes bounced between his own and his lips. Ezra pulled back and cupped his cheek forcing Will to look her in the eye, “It could have though Will… I… If I killed you…”
Will brought his hand up to cover hers, “You won’t.”
Ezra searched his gaze, “How do you know that?”
Will smiled a broken smile, “Because, I trust you Ezra.”
Ezra felt her eyes water again. She needed to leave. It was the only way to keep Will safe. Instead she felt his soft lips press against her own for a chaste kiss before he pulled back.
“Whatever you need from me Ezra, I’m ready to give to you.”
Ezra felt her breath hitch, “What if what I want is the most selfish thing in the world?”
Will looked at her, “What do you want?”
Ezra broke her gaze with him, “I want you Will.”
When she looked back to him his eyes held nothing but love, “And, I want you too Ezra. So, let’s be together.”
Ezra shook her head, “Will the only way is if… Is if I turned you. And, I could never do that to you.”
Will replied with a soft tone, “Well if that’s what it’ll take for us to be together, then I guess you just have to turn me then.”
Ezra looked at him with a sad expression, “Will… If I turn you then you can never go back. You’ll have to leave this life… It’ll never be the same.”
Will shrugged, “I already signed my life away once for a country that didn’t want me when I got back. So, if being a Vampire means I get to be with someone that truly does. It’s a small price to pay to be with the woman I love.”
Ezra’s breath was taken away, “You love me?”
Will nodded with a small smile, “I do, I love you Ezra.”
Ezra looked at Will with a stunned expression before replying, “I love you too Will.”
Will smiled and rested his forehead against her own, “So you love me, and I love you.”
Ezra nodded, “So… how exactly does one get turned into a Vampire?”
Ezra laughed softly, “It’s actually pretty simple, I just have to bite you and share some of my blood with you.”
Will rolled his eyes, “Blood sharing… kinda kinky isn’t it?”

Will smiled defiantly, “Show me then Ezra.”
