So I didn’t get to see Stephanie again until the following weekend. She messaged me letting me know that on campus LGBT group was hosting a movie night in one of the dorm basement common rooms and did I want to meet up with her there? I said sure. The basement was setup with multiple couches and loveseats all spread around with a great view of the screen for the movie. About 15 minutes into the movie which turned out to be “But I’m a Cheerleader” a body dropped onto the loveseat beside me, Stephanie had finally showed up. She grabbed up half the blanket to pull over her lap and I handed over the bag of popcorn to share. It wasn’t until about 30 minutes later that she made her move. The room is dark except for the light from the movie and we are in the last row of couches. I’m doing my damndest not to make any noises but luckily to movie was up pretty loud. When the lights came on she folded up my blanket and handed it back to me, gave me a quick peck on the lips and told me she would talk to me later that week. Off I went to my dorm satisfied but seriously confused.
