Well first I must tell you how itchy and ill fitting the uniform they gave me is. It’s so starchy and bright white, my cherry red lipstick is always smearing on the collar as I button up the front, which is tricky to do with my breasts, cupped in white lace as to not show through the uniform, being just slightly fuller than the uniform allows.
I normally don’t work in the ER but when I came down to the gift shop to get myself a red lollipop on my break, something caught my eye and I had to stop.
A shoe. A converse sneaker. Dangling over the side of the bed. I always loved converse shoes but didn’t wear them much anymore. I figured it was a little kid wearing them, but when I went over to give the kid my extra lollipop, I found the shoe on a foot attached to a tanned, strong and feminine leg. Involuntarily I gasp.
The leg continued on to a shapely hip, trim waist, soft-mounded breasts, a creamy neck and gorgeous dirty blonde hair perfectly cut and styled in a short, causal yet flirty way.
I didn’t notice any reason for this woman, who had stirred something in me, to be sitting here in the ER until my eyes, after scanning over her startling bold blue eyes and cute nose, landed on her lips. Her mouth was small but there was a defiance there. I couldn’t tell if the lips were always that berry red or if they were that color due to the bruise that was on the right side of her mouth and growing up her cheek.
I wondered how she got the bruise. She didn’t seem to be in much pain but the downward curve of her soft berry lips told me she wasn’t happy. Who could blame her. I wanted to be closer to her so I stepped forward and introduced myself, “Hi. I’m Nurse Lynn. I’ll be taking care of you today.” Her frown did not change but there was a flicker of something in her eyes. What it was I couldn’t be sure but I certainly had some idea. I responded to the flicker with a smile and a stirring between my legs.
She told me her name and told me she had an altercation with a fan of the visiting team playing in town that afternoon. A sports fan. I like that. As I examined her face, I noticed her own sharp intake of breath followed by a longer slower inhale as though she were breathing in my scent. The havoc it wrecked on my system…As I examined her abdomen I caught her staring down my uniform. My mouth twitched and warmth surged downward when I noticed her lips smirking.
