First time at a Swingers Club [MF][public-ish]

Prepare for a longish post, this is a review of Club Joi and a recap of our first experience at a swingers club. A lot of people ask what it is like, so I wanted to just write the whole thing out. Feel free to PM and ask either of us questions, my wife and I share this account.

So, my wife and I have been discussing stopping by Club Joi – a local LA swingers club – for a while since we moved to the city and just never took the plunge. My wife used to work for a different club doing marketing. While she never tried the scene, she became very open to what it was all about and it was something we always talked about.
One Friday night we decided it was time to go for it. We’re both very open sexually and willing to try new things, and since we’d never been to a club like this we wanted to explore.

We logged onto ClubJoi’s website and went through the steps to create a profile/apply for membership a few days before we went, and then received a call from the manager who spoke with us and gave us the club’s rules and told us what to expect. He was super helpful.

Friday came along, and we got dressed in nice club clothes, fancy button up, and she wore a very sexy short dress and high heels. We didn’t really know what to expect, so we headed to Club Joi just as they were opening – at 9pm. We were the first people to walk in and the staff were amazing, they knew right away it was our first time and they walked us through the process and checked in our wine. They showed us a buffet of food, but eating food in that environment seemed kind of awkward.

We walked around and looked at all the different parts of the club, the mingling dance floor, the side rooms, and the play areas, and we settled in and started to get comfortable. We’re on the younger side, under 30, and not really sure what age crowd to expect. The first few couples that came in were older, like mid-50s/late 40s, and they started drinking and talking to themselves. We sat at a hi-top table and had a few glasses of wine and watched as people began to trickle in.

The crowd grew pretty quickly to about 20 couples by 10pm. People were mingling and a few started dancing. My wife and I made out on the couch for a bit beside the dance floor, then we danced for a while. As we were finishing our first bottle of wine and really starting to relax and mingle more we noticed people started changing into more revealing outfits and really starting to have a good time.

My wife began pointing out that the crowd was on the younger side, lots of people in their mid 20s and early 30s, close to our age. She pointed out a few very attractive girls and some handsome men. And as time passed and people were drinking more, we noticed couples splitting off and heading to the play rooms. My wife took me by the hand and we walked back to explore what was happening in the dark rooms in the back.

We went through the beaded entrance and saw the most brightly lit room was fairly empty, there was a man in the back going down on the girl he had been dancing with, and a few couples making out. We sat on a couch in one of the rooms with a few large circular couches and were making out heavily while other couples just kind of wandered around – it seemed like the crowd was getting comfortable with the surroundings and getting their liquid courage in place.

We continued kissing and then decided to go to one of the darker rooms. We walked in, it was totally empty so we sat on another couch in there and began kissing again. A few people walked in and just watched us and then moved on, two couples settled in on the beds in the room and began to kiss heavily and take each others clothes off.
My wife said she wanted to find a bed before they filled up, so I stayed on the couch by myself with my hands covering the lap of my slacks while she went to scope out some spaces. She came back and said one of the girls she had found attractive was getting undressed with two guys and another girl in the other room and there was an open bed. So, we rushed over there and claimed a spot on the bed directly next to where they were now all kissing and pulling each others clothes off.

I had an awkward moment where I was taking off my shoes and slacks and trying to figure out where to put my phone and wallet. My wife just took her dress off over her head. We were making out and the two couples next to us were going down on each other and making a lot of noise as a crowd was starting to gather.

When I slid my hand down my wife’s panties, I honestly had never felt her that wet with her clit so swollen, and she was having an amazing time watching the other couple. The room was very dark, but there was a black light that would get brighter as people moved around – so it was constantly just dimming and brightening which was kind of sexy in its own way because the room would almost change.

On the other side of the room I pointed out to my wife that a woman we’d seen dancing earlier was sucking off a guy as he watched us. My wife was grinding her ass hard against me and right at our feet on the edge of the bed we were on, a different girl was stroking off the guy she was with while they both were staring at us and leaning on the bed.

We were surrounded by three couples either having sex or starting to have sex, and at least 10 other people watching it all happen. I started fucking her from behind while we watched the foursome in front of us, and the group around us were moving in a bit, but in a respectable way, I think more trying to get a good view.

We had sex for about 10 minutes, and it was honestly incredibly exciting, and when we finished, we didn’t lay there like normal, we kind of collectively decided to go and we gathered our stuff and moved off the bed. As we were leaving, another couple quickly took our place and were taking their clothes off right away, that was kind of exciting.
As we put our clothes on in the hallway outside the room we’d just left, a guy came up and thanked me for letting him watch and he asked if my wife liked women, I kind of felt awkward and said no as we walked away.

We both went to the bathroom and in the bathroom a really tall guy asked me if it was my first time here, and he told me my wife was beautiful and he said he’d had a god time watching us – I didn’t recognize him from the room, but it was dark.

We decided it was time to go, even though the crowd was going really strong and the DJ was just gearing up. We talked about it the whole walk to the car, and have been talking about it since.
