It feels similar to Settlers of Catan. You purchase buildings or improvements that reward you when certain numbers are rolled, and you start every turn by rolling the dice.

I do recommend it — I think it’s a good game regardless of how much sex is involved (including none). There’s no spatial element (no road building, etc), but the economic trade-offs are more complex, so it becomes more of a game of building up on the the correct combinations of numbers than building up a bunch of connected cities and settlements. There’s a limited number of each card, also, so you can buy out of a certain one and leave none or very few for others. So, if that sounds like any fun, you’ll probably like it.
