My friend recently read Fifty Shades of Grey and told me it was terrible. I heard this a lot and wondered if I could find some erotica that I would liked. I looked around, and ended reading Captive in the Dark from C.J. Roberts, and then the rest of the saga. I've been looking for other books like this ones, but after reading several summaries, it appeared like I would have troubles finding something else I would enjoy.
The Dark Duet isn't perfect, there are several things I didn't appreciate. But overall, I liked it. Particularly, I enjoyed that it was not all about erotic scenes. I actually was caught up in the plots, such as Caleb's background. I also liked the whole "captor slowly falling for his victim and seducing her story".
Do you have any suggestions of what else I might enjoy?
Edit: Another thing I appreciated is that we also had the perspective of the man.
