**Part 1: Joyce**
From his window, Eric watched as the SUV backed down the driveway of the house next door. Now in the street, the vehicle turned to its left and the boy followed its journey down the block, before disappearing around the corner. Eric grinned. “Not long now,” he said to himself while continuing to look out the window.
About five minutes later, Eric saw a sporty, blue car turn the corner onto his street, and then park in the same driveway. The doors opened, two women got out and then hurried into the house. Almost instantly, his phone buzzed from its place on the dresser. Without a word, the eighteen-year-old turned away from the window and left the room, being sure to grab his phone on the way out.
Going downstairs, Eric went through the kitchen and out the back door. He walked across the yard to the alley gate, opened it, and then once through, he walked down the lane to the next gate over. He opened it and entered the back yard of the house next door. The boy walked across the yard to the patio door, only stopping to notice it was left cracked open slightly. Entering the house, he walked through its kitchen and into the living room. The two women from the sports car, along with a third, sat side-by-side on the sofa, and not one of them had a single stitch of clothing on.
