Another late night, stuck at the dealership. We were supposed to clock out an hour ago, but he was selling a car, and I was the one who had to take the down payment. Ya know, us receptionists actually do a lot more than we get credit for. Even so, I was treated as nothing more than eye candy.
“I’m so sorry. Looks like I kept you late for no reason. They ended up backing out of the deal.” His defeated voice ripped me from my deep concentration of my nightly paperwork. He looked down at me with his deep blue eyes, which were riddled with the disappointment of wasted time and lost hope.
I had always found this particular salesman to be very attractive, but it wasn’t until that moment of being alone with him that I realized how *sexy* he was. The way his eyes turned down just slightly at the corners. The way his lips naturally pouted. He reminded me of a sad cowboy wearing a suit, and I had a sudden, overwhelming urge to cheer him up.
