Mia grunted as she racked the heavy bar loudly, snatching her towel up and wiping her sweat covered face. The muscular woman was thankful for her gym being open late hours, since it had been a long week leaving her frustrated. Work had been hectic, coupled with the unexpected bill and a fight with her family had left the fit blonde worn out, and a late night workout like this helped take her mind off things. Packing her gym bag, Mia scowled as she headed out in the pouring rain, running to her SUV and hopping in.
As soon as she began the drive home her mind turned back to the issues bothering her, and Mia growled to herself, her hands gripping the steering wheel hard while she drove through the rain. Pulling up to a stoplight she jumped as lightning flashed across the night sky, the toned woman glancing left and right as the world around her lit up. Noticing a young woman huddled under the tiny bus stop, Mia ignored the honk of an impatient driver behind her, rolling down her tinted passenger window.
“Ann? Annie?!” Mia yelled out the window, catching the attention of the soaked woman standing under the tiny overhang.
