They met at the park on a cloudy and beautiful day. The sun streaming through patches between the clouds.
He saw her standing next to a tree in the distance and recognized her, even when wearing a mask her eyes bright and sparkling like in her pictures.
In long strides, he closed the distance between them and she turned her head when she heard his steps. He looked at the burly, tall man and also recognized him. She could tell that he was smiling because of the way his mask was stretching across his face, and she smiled back at him.
They stood up facing each other for what looked like an eternity, with their hearts pounding inside their chests and struggling to get the first word out of their mouths. Finally, he opened his mouth and started to speak
— Hi! I am… — She interrupted him in a delightful manner, putting her hand on his chest — I know. I just know it. I’m glad you came. — She said.
— And I’m so happy to see you here too — He replied, getting a step closer and opening his arms. She wrapped hers around him and deposited her head against him, closing the embrace, getting tightly together for several moments.
