Half the items on the list had been crossed off, specifically those on the half of the Job and Bounty list that paid the most. The paper was nailed crudely to the wall in the guild common room. Yorros sighed and slumped his forehead against the posting.

“Still nothing huh?” He heard from behind him. He turned to see Aria peering around him at the posting. Before he turned back, Yorros couldn’t help noticing her beautiful cleavage that she was always proud to show off.

Princess Zelda’s eyes roamed over the Hylian runes etched into the stone slab. It held the key to opening the Gate of Time, which she and Link needed in order to go back to the past and right the wrongs of Gannon. Lenna didn’t want to go out on such a day. The rain beat down outside continuously. Now that her secret was out, Aria had to get out of Yers. She had come to the small village to deal with a pest problem, sewer rats to be exact, and gain the meagre reward. The contract keeper at her guild had warned her that the small village was superstitious and forbade magic within its bounds. Everything had gone well at first, she had no problems baiting the trap at the town center. Though she had warned the villagers to stay in, she could see cracked doors and windows where they peered out. Soon the rats had emerged from fields and holes, swarming the area. Aria had lit the oil she had coated the ground with. Squeaks of pain emitted from the writhing mass of fur.
