Kylie tilted her head side to side as she gave herself one more good look in the mirror. She was starting a new temp job today and knew that she had to make an amazing first impression if she had any chance of turning this temp position into a permanent one.
Satisfied with the pinstripe skirt, red blouse and matching pinstripe blazer, Kylie slipped into a pair of black slingbacks and headed out her apartments front door.
“Good morning Ms. Kylie.” Kylie’s neighbor Isaac greeted her, as he looked her up and down. Kylie returned his greeting with a smile. “Morning Isaac, I didn’t hear any noises through walls for once. Boring night or did you crash at her place last night?”
Isaac’s lips curled into a mischievous grin. “You know you’re the only one for me Kylie.”
The elevator door opened up and Kylie swayed her hips as she moved inside the vacant elevator car. “Bye Isaac,” she quipped as the door closed behind her.
After an uncomfortable train ride into the city and a four-block walk, Kylie found herself standing in front of an intimidating 80-story skyscraper.
