My wife dated a guy who was super into sharing her when she was 17 til she was 23. She was hesitant about it at first, but got more and more into it as time went on.
Spring break of her freshman year of college, she and some of her friends talked about going to Mardi Gras together. Her bf was super into it even though he couldn’t go because of his job. They talked about it and what she’d be into doing and what he’d be okay with.
