Game Night [mm] [oral]

Carl and Rob have been friends since they met at university last year, both studying game design. They clicked due to them both loving video games and would often spend evening together playing online together.

“Hey Carl!” exclaimed Rob over his microphone so loudly that Carl almost jumped at the sudden noise. “I finally got a gaming console! You know, making it easier for us to play together… Locally…”. Having both been avid PC gamers, most of their time gaming would be spent apart on their gaming PCs at home. It was handy as both lived on seperate sides of the city, they talked a lot at uni but have actually never visited each others houses.

“What type?” Asked Carl. It was almost strange that neither of them actually had a console despite being so into gaming, PC is just so practical but it seemed nice to get the experience of playing games together on one screen, a thing that is becoming rarer and rarer in PC games since many have just opted for online gaming these days. “You’ll have to come over and see.” Rob snarked. Maybe this was finally going to be the thing that encourages Carl to finally make the tedious journey across the city to finally see his apartment. It was modest but for a student, a pretty decent size.
