I knock on the door of your dorm room with flowers in hand. It had been two weeks since we last saw each other and I wanted to remind her how good we are together. With her transferring to a new college a strain had been put on us that we had not faced before. She answered the door with her usual smile, from ear to ear, as sincere as I have ever seen. I hand her the flowers and she smelled them, thanking me, as she put them into a vase in the kitchen. She turned to me and said that all three of her roommates left for class. I ask, "So we have the place to ourselves?" She responded by pulling her shirt over her head and throwing it on the floor.
