Buzz me in. Part 1.

I ring the door bell and the light at the camera panel activates. I ask to see you and you say,

“Come right up. 10-04, second room to right.”

I’m nervous as it’s the second time we’ve met in person. The first was yesterday and we met at a café not far from here and she was dressed plainly in a comfy tracksuit tee and cap. Even I know it doesn’t really show, it’s obvious to any man with enough sense and equal parts legitimate functioning eyesight to look that she keeps fit and walks with a quiet sense of confidence. And plus it’s a local place and she probably has a customer relationship here that she wants unchanged.

I enter the foyer, get in the elevator and tap the 10th level with my knuckle. I check my appearance but feel silly doing so – I don’t think she’d really care. The floor pings and I get out of the elevator.
