He yawned as he sat down in the desk chair. His home office was shaping up nicely after the move, which made up for the solitude of having to work from home. D put down his tea and unlocked his computer to read up on the messages he’d missed since going to bed last night. He raised his arms up above his head, stretched them as he tilted his head from side to side and then dropped them down to click the notification on his Discord client. He snickered as he read through the latest gossip about the game he liked to play and sipped his tea. There was a message from her, too. She’d clearly been thinking about him again, which was nice to know. He typed her a quick “good morning!” and opened his calendar to find out that he had a relatively quiet day ahead of him. He took a big gulp of hot tea and got to work on a report that was due by the end of the week.
