We have been together through many adventures, and it was my sincere hope that we would be together for many more. This adventure was like many others in that we were together, but it was an experience unlike any that we had before. You let me know that we were going to have some company for dinner one night, and I did not think anything of it. We often had people over for cocktails and grilling, just to get together and talk and relax together. We just pulled together all of the groceries and supplies and started getting ready for company.
Once the majority of the preparations were complete, you kissed me on the cheek and went to the bedroom to change into your dinner outfit. I finished prepping the veggies and cleaned up the mess we made together, placed all of the prepared food into the refrigerator or resting on the counter. I wiped down the counters and took out the garbage just in time to see you come back from your personal preparations.
