A fine vintage [Fm][Fdom][mast]

*”Running late again, Renny”*, he thought to himself, as he raced his bike through the crowded streets and alleyways of Paris. It would take him a great deal of effort to explain to ‘Miss V’ that over sleeping was a good enough reason to not show up for work on time. His studies kept him up late nights, due to the short summer semester abroad and working part time at Mrs. Verduin’s wine shop filled up the rest of his schedule. He hardly had time for a social life or to enjoy the rich culture and social life that Paris offered.

Still, he had learned a great deal about wine and vineyards from Miss V. A widow herself, she took over her the shop and the vineyard from her husband, who was once the associate of her father. It was her families vineyard, but her husband worked with her father before they were even dating to establish their label and storefront. It was there that they fell in love and it never would have succeeded if not for his efforts, but her father was gone for several years and her husband having tragically died in a plane crash about a decade ago left her in charge of all of it.

The Grass is always greener? Part two [mast] ,[Fantasy]

She pressed her thumb to the scanplate as the positive siunding chime went off indicting the acceptance of her print. She opened the door and made her way thru the short entry hall to living area of her downtown apartment as the automated lights came on.
She was still in some mild discomfort and was on medication for the pain, fortunately her car had the self-driving AI modifications updated so she was able to take the newly constructed overpass and not have to sit in extra traffic through the detour. Before the update was available her car wouldnt even recognize the new route and she was still too medicated to operate the vehicle manually, especially she hadn’t driven a car herself since her sophomore year of highschool almost twenty years ago. She was thankful she got the email about the update 2 days before the operation. It was one less thing to have to worry about and she wouldnt have to ask her assistant to take her to and from the hospital. That would lead to questions, questions she wasnt ready to answer.
