I’m lighting my lemon vanilla scented candle as a final touch after deep cleaning my apartment when I hear a car door slam shut. I’m so excited,  I’ve been looking forward to seeing Josh since the last time we saw each other. We had the apartment to ourselves when my roommate went on vacation with her family a few weeks ago. It was our first time. After years of waiting for “the right person,” we took each other’s virginity at 19 and 20. I’ve been reminiscing the night since it happened, waiting for the next time my roommate leaves so we can do it again. Josh still lives with his parents so that wasn’t an option, and unfortunately me and my roomates schedules are too similar, everytime I’m busy so is she, and everytime I’m home so is she.
