The Airport Saga – Part 1

It was Wednesday and I don’t know why but the airport was pretty empty. Maybe it was because of the time I entered there, around 3 am, or maybe it was just an off day. I checked in and headed towards the gate no 6.

I placed my bag on a chair and sat on the one adjacent to it. I checked the time, and I still had two more hours to kill. My flight was delayed and it just happened to be my phone’s battery was not what I wanted it to be. I plugged in the charger on the charging desk right in front of me and was about to sit back on my chair when I noticed her. And as soon as I looked at her, she swayed her head to another direction. For a while, I felt that I somehow know her but I couldn’t do a thing even if I did as she was already with some old lady. It was her mother, which I came to know a while after.
