Hello everybody, I have a question regarding publishing. TW: mentions of rape
I have a typical college story, but the thing is, it is extremely explicit since the characters are above age. I was looking at KDP and it basically said no sex scenes, so I’m curious as to where my story draws the line.
It includes heavy topics that are addressed and not just there for the hell of it, as well as personal character development with respect to sexuality, and sex is a part of the story.
I was also reading that if you had any specific terms like “rape” or something of that nature that you cannot self-publish, and the romance/erotica is not the rape, that is the heavy hitting issue I’m trying to tackle.
The romance however comes in with my main character and their SO. Does anybody have any advice with respect to this topic?
