I was on my way home from work, but I was involved in a serious car accident where both my car and the other was totaled. I shattered my right wrist and fractured my left along with 3 broken fingers in my left. I also had 2 bruised ribs, concussion, and scrapes/bruises. I have to travel for work. I usually go on 2-4 business trips a month. It’s perfectly fine for me because my company pays for all my business class tickets. I usually mix business with pleasure, but I always make sure I get my business done first. I’ve been fortunate enough to have been to most states in the US except for a couple states.

I had to go to Tampa Bay, Florida once. I tried to book a hotel for 4 days, but I couldn’t find any places open for 4 days and I don’t like staying in dingy bad places. A co-worker mentioned I should try Airbnb. So I gave it a try and actually found a place. It was an older couple (Thomas & Jane) who said I could stay with them for 4 days, but said they have their daughter (Erin) there. I told them it shouldn’t be a problem.

When I got there in the evening, Tom and Jane greeted me and showed me to the room I’d be staying in. After I got settled, I decided to go over my presentation on my laptop and make sure everything was ready for tomorrow. As I was getting ready for bed, I saw Erin and she greeted me.
