Chuck slid the back door open with his elbow and walked on to the deck where his wife waited for him.
“One margarita on the rocks with lime, extra salt” He recited, extending the cool beverage to her.
She looked at him, a slight smile forming at the edge of her mouth. Chuck was tall, about 6’4” and, though he was certainly not built like a Greek god, he had lost a good amount of weight recently and he looked good. The time spent at the gym was paying off in a smaller belt size and a more muscular physique. She loved his reddish-brown beard that had been sprinkled with gray over the last year or so, and was a great compliment to his deep blue eyes.
“Put it on my tab” she replied.
Chuck smiled and congratulated himself again for having the good sense to marry this woman. Standing in their back yard under the moonlight on this perfect spring evening, she looked as lovely as she had on the day he married her. She had big beautiful brown eyes, and wavy hair that cascaded carelessly around her shoulders. And she was wearing her yellow sundress that was a favorite of his. Mostly because of the way the light fabric moved in the breeze and hugged her curvy body.
