I felt my entire esophagus trembling as I tried to suck the air slowly in. My airway burned and it didn't matter how many times I drank just one more glass of water, my throat was going dry.
"If I go, you promise not to give up?"
"No way. " I held Elise by her arms. If she left, I would start to run and not stop until I got home.
"Mina, eventually we will have to split up. Unless you want me to stay here for the whole thing" she laughed "and I don't think you will".

I opened my andry eyes towards her. Doesn't suit me? Being catastrophic is probably the only thing I know how to do right.
"Yeah, right." She shook her head, smiling "Maybe it suits you a little bit. But it will be all right. You just need to breathe. And try to stop sweating."
