Warm sun, birds singing and the low hum of the world waking up.
I roll over, my arm draped over you as you snuggle back into me. My chest now on your back, my legs on your legs. I squeeze you tight and gently kiss the back of your neck. You twist your head to look at me with those deep eyes “Good morning”
I kiss your cheek as you settle back down, feeling safe, secure and calm in my arms. You reach for my hand, our fingers intertwine with our hands resting near your waist. My other hand now brushing your hair aside, exposing more of your neck, to my gentle kisses as my fingers filter through your hair. Slowly you move my hand up your body to rest on your chest, I break free of your hold and allow my hand to glide over your body. From your neck, down your chest, across your hips and along your leg, slowly moving back up to your neck. I hear you exhale, a little moan escapes to let me know that the wiggle I just felt in my lap was real.
