I got to the meeting a little early and took my seat at the far end of the table. Eventually people starting to arrive filling in the empty spaces around me. I looked up from my phone casually every few minutes to smile at my coworkers and the guests arriving. Lost in my email, I heard a coy laugh that sent chills over my body. When I looked up I saw him. Our eyes locked immediately, he had a genuine heir of swagger and sex that made me instantly intrigued. I tried to hide my eager smile, but it was too late, he saw me and I knew I had him when he sat next to me and leaned in to introduce himself. He put his bag down on the ground between our chairs and made a point to brush my arm with his as he took his seat. I smiled and he took my hand and said, “Nice to meet you, I’m Colin.” “Kat, I said.” I’ve heard a lot about you.” And I had, Colin was a golden boy in the eyes of my colleagues. He was the brains behind our new campaign and for the ad agency that my company used. For over a year now I’ve been hearing how amazing Colin was. And now here he was.
