It’s late spring/early summer and the Georgia summer heat can already be felt along with the smell of an incoming thunderstorm. There is nothing quite like the calm before the storm. That quiet peace, but the tenseness in the weather that you can just feel because you know nature is about to unleash it’s fury. As a boy it was always exciting to see the devastation a storm could deliver, but also how it benefited the ground and the environment around it by providing it just what it needed. Today however, it won’t be just a Georgia thunderstorm, but me who delivers the same fear and excitement to the one I love.
I call into the house, “Baby Girl, it’s time to go.” You hurry to the door wearing just what you were told – a white strapless sun dress that goes just above the knee. Underneath the dress, a lacy white bra and panties that can be seen just slightly when the setting sun hits it just right. You are excited about our date even though you have no idea what it is going to be. The eagerness, with which you climb into my truck, is both cute and full of innocence. Little do you know that today Daddy will be taking every last bit of that innocence.
