B was the sweetest guy I knew; kind sometimes to his own detriment. He was cute in a bookish sort of way, always kind of nervous but in a way that was endearing. I fully believe the only reason he had been single all this time was because of his shyness. I doubt we would’ve even become friends if it wasn’t for me hassling him in every class we had together the first year of college.
