First time posting here, so apologies in advance if my writing skills need polishing. This is a real story.
Anyway, this happened almost a year to this date. It was New Year’s Eve, and everyone was out and about enjoying, and from the looks of people walking about all dressed up and looking to party, you couldn’t tell that a pandemic was raging. I was enjoying people watching, drinks in hand. I was due to fly out to work the next day, so I didn’t think I would have a big night – or so I thought.
I was a member of one of these messaging groups pertaining to an adult cinema in the city, and a couple messaged that they were coming in to play in the cinema, and looking for “activity partners”. Well, since most people had previous plans for the evening, they didn’t have much takers. I replied, telling them to tell me when they got in and I would be there to meet them. The lady’s name was Kay, her husband’s name, I totally forgot lol.
