It was a pleasant and chilly Christmas evening in Surrey. The sky was gray as always, accompanied by a gentle breeze. Julien (M20) was just getting ready for the annual Christmas party that was to take place in Bear Creek Park, one of the larger parks in Surrey that was commonly used to host events. The city council, as they do annually, set up stalls and decorate the park to host a gathering, and a subtle party for the residents of the city. Apart from Easter, this event probably draws the highest crowd, and is something people look forward to.

This was accompanied by his beige trousers. He sprayed cologne throughout his body, the same brand that he used to use every time he met his girlfriend, Emma (F19). It had been almost 5 months since they had seen each other. The last time they met was all the way in Toronto, where they grew up, at a local cafe to catch up. Emma had chosen to pursue medicine at Leeds, where she was currently residing. First year for her was tough, and the plans of meeting up every couple of weekends or so had become a dream rather than what was thought would be reality. He knew she was tough, and is one of the smartest people. He has come to understand that her career was immensely important, and respected her requests to study. She was too precious to him, he wouldn’t lose her for anything in the world.
