I thought I’d share some memories about my time at university.
When I went to uni I stayed on campus in student accommodation. It was the first time living away from home and I didn’t know anyone there. After registering at the campus accommodation office I found that I was going to be sharing the room with another girl.
It helped a lot to have someone to share the experience with and settle into uni life, even if we started out as strangers.
We met in the room and introduced ourselves, and we hit it off. We had a few shared interests and it didn’t take long to bond.
For the first few months we were careful about our personal space and gave each other privacy. We’d use the bathroom to change and knock on doors before coming in.
Over time we started to be a little less private with each other. Things like changing clothes in the main area when the other was there. Just being in underwear when getting ready for bed. This continued until we were openly naked in front of each other. Getting changed after a shower or undressing fully before bed.
