Around June-July 2015 I read a story or series of stories that I cannot find. From what I can remember it centers around a man and wife/girlfriend. The guy is blackmailed by his neighbor who has information that he owes someone (irs?) money and is hiding. He blackmails the guy starting slowly but in the end gets the wife(?) pregnant and she leaves him. I remember the neighbor being described as a troll(?). The story is told from the husbands perspective. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
