My boss is starting to have a huge thing for me. It’s definitely not an official type thing, but he clearly is into me.
So, at my job, I work the closing shift. It’s always me and another co worker, 5-6 days a week, we are alone together the last few hours of the shift as we wrap everything up and close the place up etc. Usually it is me and one of the managers closing together.
Well uh, we have started to get a bit closer. Spending hours alone with someone every day can do that obviously, but it’s definitely gone farther than I expected. It started when I noticed he would tell me things you usually don’t tell people.. like, he mentioned he sleeps naked. We were talking about getting places on time and he just goes, “Well since I always sleep naked it takes me longer to get ready”
Or a while after that he mentioned how he hadn’t fucked anyone in a while. We were talking about being stressed and he just casually throws in something like, “Yeah, and since I broke up wifh my ex I haven’t fucked anyone in a few weeks, usually we’d fuck every day soo that might be adding to my stress”
I feel like you don’t usually even tell friends that, much less co workers, butttt I liked having that relationship where we could tell eachother anything, so I let things like that slide
The next time I noticed a big change was on my birthday. I had a birthday party (small party, just me and a few of my besties) and I went right from the party to work to try to make it in time, I just threw my work outfit on right over what I was wearing. Well as soon as everyone but me and him left, I took off the work outfit (we both do it all the time, if its just us we might as well be comfy in our regular clothes while we run around and finish everything up)
The thing is tho, the shirt I was wearing at the party definitely showed off a fair amount of cleveage and the pants were kinda tight fitting etc.. I caught him staring a lot, he wasn’t really trying to hide it. And then all night after that he was standing much closer to me than usual, “accidentally” brushing me against me etc.. at one point he was up on a ladder and I swear it looked like he was hard but I couldn’t be sure obviously. Again though, if he was he wasn’t really hiding it. I didn’t say anything because he didn’t directly do anything, but yeah, he was definitely more touchy and his eyes were on me for sure.
It didn’t really go back to normal after that. It wasn’t as obvious, but the next couple weeks, even though I was in normal clothes again I still noticed him looking at me more, “accidental” touches, subtle things like that, and only after everyone else left
And then one day I was having a really bad day, something happened that I don’t really want to get into, and I just wasn’t handing it well. I was venting to him about it and I started to cry a bit, and he just grabbed my hand, pulled me into the office, and just hugged me for a really long time, a couple minutes at least, swaying and rubbing my back, the whole thing. And then before he let me go he kissed my cheek and told me it was gonna be okay and then told me to get back to work and said he would be in the office if I needed anything else.
I haven’t talked to him about it, and definitely haven’t gone to anyone else about it. But he clearly has a thing for me. I have mixed feelings about it, maybe I just need fo work through my feelings more
