Hey man. I’m a painter and have a set of models that I work with. We do not trade cash payments (I would be broke) but I offer alternative payments like copies of the pieces, and for the ones I am friends with I have actually shot a few fetish shoots for them while picking up my own typical reference pics (I do not typically do anything fetish related and these were gifted to their partners).
I have a lot of experience working with live nude models.
1) I’m not a mod here but I’m pretty sure this is not the right sub to proposition?
2) if you are looking for a genuine actual model you need to post locally, and be 100% upfront about intent. Once someone sounds interested have a meeting in person, show that you aren’t some fucking creepo giving a bad name to the art industry just to fill your spank bank
3) if you are working on anything with adult themes or nudity you need to be aware that you are asking people to be very vulnerable with you. Handle it like an adult. No comments about nudey nudey, weird smiley crap or anything of that nature. That’s absolutely creepy and indicates that you may have trouble with things like maturity, respect, and subsequently boundaries.
4) if you are looking for something specifically sexual take the responsibility to go to local conventions in relation to your subject. The BDSM community has a lot of meetups and if you handle your request like an adult you’ll likely get someone interested in celebrating their lifestyle/body enough to take a chance on you.
5) if you are at university odds are there are art classes where live models are present. I recommend that if you haven’t attended a live model art class already you should do so. Your approach to this is a bit of a red flag on my end but it may just be that you’re just not really experienced on this type of thing and are being awkward. You need to get some experience under a mentor and an art class is the best place to get it.
