  1. Its erotica… I have never read any Erotica that spoke about colour or race… unless it was written specifically for that. Stop Reading Race into everything. I am sure that Men and Woman regardless of the colour of their skin are enjoying erotica.

  2. >I was recently talking to a friend who said that erotica for black women is still somewhat taboo and not all that easy to find compared to ‘white-washed’ erotica. Would you agree with that?

    >In your opinion, which groups of people are craving erotica but can’t find it?

I know you can find erotica. I suggest what you can’t find is non-fictional speaking of one’s mind about the issues behind it. In non-fiction, people are obsessed with telling the truth instead of speaking one’s mind. There is actually a difference between the two. I think there’s a reason why this is, no one wants to hear someone non-fictionally speak their mind. No one wants to hear statistical studies. People want to hear the truth told. People want The Good vs Evil narrative. People want to turn their brains off, they want cognitive bias and heroes. They remind me of when I was a 19 year old kid. I think the only taboo left not broken in erotica is that it is not merged with apocalyptic fiction.

  3. I definitely agree. It’s hard to find erotica that does not have white or Asian women in it. I’d love to read more erotica with dark skinned WOC.
