Today’s envelope contained a picture of the sub/slave position ‘Humble’ and the instruction to practice and remember the name of the position.
‘Humble’ is a kneeling position, with legs parted to the width of the shoulders, where your upper body is bend down to the floor so the forehead is touching the ground. Arms are stretched out to the front crossing at the wrists.
While practising the position I was thinking about how fitting the position was for today’s mood. The last two days I wasn’t able to fulfill the given tasks to my Dom’s satisfaction, missing deadlines and not following all of the instructions. Positioned like that I felt I could give him a non-verbal apology.
Rating the intensity of this task I’m going with a 6/10 today. Not because the task itself is hard to carry out but because of the circumstances and the weirdly fitting timing of it. A truly humbling position it is, especially for a bratty sub like me. Not being able/allowed to look at my Dom works even better on me than any physical punishment could. Imagining having to assume this positions in future sessions is making me want to work harder on being a good and more obedient sub.
