The Run: Part 1

He was in love with her sun touched, glistening skin, and the smell of her coconut fragrance as she passed by. He ran at the same trail for years at the same time. He was a routine person, never deviated, just how he is. But starting the past Wednesday, there was a new face.

He was pretty much in love the moment he laid eyes on her. She had a beautiful smile, he admired her as she stretched before her run. For days she never had anyone run with her, and he noticed no ring. Well who ran with rings? Hopefully everyone, he didn’t know, he was never married.

He took off at his regular fast pace, made it to mile 6 and turned around. There she was, coming his way, he winked at her smiling. God that smile. She was amazing. He couldn’t help but think of her blonde hair dancing in the wind, like the petals of a sunflower. Her trim but strong body, dripping wet from sweat like the stem of a flower, freshly watered. And her fragrance, her aroma, he wanted her.

He got back to his car, began to stretch out his sore muscles and that’s when he felt a touch on his shoulder. It was her, she introduced herself, asked him if he would like to join her for her stretch in the field. Of course he went, she already lightly grasped his hand. His heart was pounding, he didn’t know what to think.

She began to talk about him, how fast he was, how attractive he was, his dark hair, his 5 o’clock shadow and how strong he looked. She explained that she turned around so she could meet him. He was surprised to see she was watching him as much as he was her.

They reached the field, she turned to him and asked could she kiss him. He responded holding her cheek and kissed her top lip. She held the back of his head, slowly running her fingers back and forth. He began to kiss her neck, the taste of her, it was sweet, very unexpected considering the circumstances. He took his shirt off, she ran her fingers up and down his body.

Scratching his muscular back, she pressed herself against him. He pressed back, he ran his hands down her back, appreciating every curve along the way. She ran her fingers down his back doing the same. He kissed her neck, ran his bottom lip up to her ear, in a gently yet firm voice he spoke close so every hair on her body would rise. “I’ve got to go” and pulled back, she asked for his number, he declined, letting her know she knows where to find him, same place tomorrow. He turned and walked away…

Part 2 coming soon…
