I’m an indie developer and I built a website for Erotica fiction writing using AI. You write a piece of the story will continue with you. Last time this subreddit gave me a ton of great feedback – looking forward to round 2

Hi all!

I’m the founder of [MyTales](https://mytales.io/), a website that generates erotic fiction. I posted here a [couple of months back](https://www.reddit.com/r/Erotica/comments/zh7ybn/im_an_indie_developer_and_i_built_a_site_to/) and got a ton of great feedback. The most asked feature was more control over the storyline, and that the images are sometimes super weird.

So, you now get total control of the story. You can edit it, delete sections, etc, to match your preferred kink and sex. So you can step into the story and change it to suit your tastes.

The images are still super weird sometimes. I’m working on it.

I’d love any more feedback on this. What would it take to for this to be a great app?

  1. I wrote an opening sentence and pressed let AI continue and it just kept loading gorever. Nothing happened.

  2. Still spinning.

Also, if you’re using GPT, how do you get around their content policies that prohibit sexually explicit material? I had played around with GPT-3 before ChatGPT and it always balked at this sort of thing.

  3. Worked pretty well for me!

And yes, the images are super weird, especially since they constantly contradict the story. The AI came up with a thin, young blonde waitress as the protagonist an I get shown an obese middle-aged women dressed in 18th century clothing.

One more major flaw I immediately encountered: the AI doesn’t necessarily seem to “get” or “remember” which gender / role it’s protagonists have. Like, it switches from describing a rather cocky dude to him saying “I’ll have what she’s having” (made no sense in the context). And the office hottie fondling his cock in the copier room all of a sudden turns him around and starts “inserting fingers” and “stretching him” while he’s nervously scanning the office. Oh, and THEN she also starts probing his/her ass with a second hand, so where exactly was she finger banging him in the meantime?

I think this’ll be the most fundamental drawback / off-putting feature going forward, since a fundamental task in erotica is understanding and describing characters and specifically their sexual preferences, needs, kinks etc. If there isn’t some major consistency in these defined characters during the plot (not talking about slow changes or revelations), the whole story just falls apart and turns into a messy word spagetti of naught sounding sentences.
