Book 2 of my Chance Encounters series: The Widow

Sherry Lark never complained about the work she had to do as a housekeeper at Sherwood Bed and Breakfast. It was simply what she had to do to make ends meet. She hadn’t had many jobs before this one, tending to stick with places for a while before she moved on to the next. There was a level of comfort working with the same people day in and day out, making it less likely for her to want to change environments. At that point, she had no intention of leaving until she found a better-paying job. The pay wasn’t exactly great, considering she was only making ten dollars an hour to walk up and down several flights of steps between floors, giving her legs a serious workout. There weren’t many housekeepers to begin with, so several rooms were often assigned to one housekeeper who would end up taking the brunt of the labor and be on a tight time crunch. It put immense stress on her and the other four female housekeepers. Sometimes, there were only two housekeepers a day, adding an even greater burden to their already busy routine.

Frustratingly, one of the housekeepers, May, would often slack on her duties due to the fact that she was fucking the cook quite regularly in the storage shed off to the side of the B&B. Sherry only knew this because she caught them one morning when she had been instructed to find a box of decorations for the lobby. She didn’t want to be caught watching, so had only peeked long enough to see the cook fucking May doggy-style against the wall of the storage building. He was holding up one of her legs, twisting her body more towards where Sherry was watching. She remembered feeling a rush run down through her pussy as she watched May’s breasts bounce while the cook drove his thick cock into her.

That was months ago. Sherry hadn’t seen them together since then, but she knew that they had to still be fucking. Every time the storage shed was in her view, she would imagine their two bodies intertwining. The thought would send a twinge of jealousy through her. It had been so long since Sherry had been with a man. After her husband Michael had passed away unexpectantly at thirty-two from a heart attack, she found it difficult to open herself up to new people. His death was almost four years ago, and still, she felt being with another man was a betrayal to her husband. Sherry was her own worst enemy, and she knew it. But the fact was, she didn’t know how to come out of the fog and into the light. It felt like she hadn’t been in a relationship forever. She didn’t even really know how to date. Sherry and Michael had been married for six years before he passed. In all honesty, she couldn’t remember what her life was like before him. Her gold wedding band remained on her finger.
