PART 3:
Logan sent Patrick his address and within thirty minutes, a driver in a black Mercedes-Benz picked him up and took him to the airport. Logan flew via private jet from West Palm Beach to New York City’s JFK airport. From there, Logan was escorted to a helicopter where the pilot informed him their flight would only take about twenty minutes.
Until now, Logan hadn’t been too surprised by the VIP treatment. A chauffeur and even a private jet were not new experiences to him. He made a lot of money from modeling and had many wealthy friends. But something about the helicopter made him feel like he had reached a new level.
He pulled out his phone and texted his talent agent, Chris: omg, I’m on a helicopter rn, leaving JFK to meet Patrick Halliday upstate.
Chris replied: Damn kid! That’s hot! Pretty soon you won’t even need me!
Logan replied with a frowny face.
Twenty minutes later, Logan realized he had not seen any houses or buildings for several miles. They had been flying over a long stretch of forest when Logan spotted a field ahead, on top of a hill. The helicopter slowed, hovered to the center of the field and landed.
“Here we are, sir!” said the pilot.. The copilot exited and opened Logan’s door. Logan grabbed his backpack and stepped out. He turned in a slow circle, looking for anyone who might be there to meet him.
Just then, a black SUV emerged from the nearby treeline, following a dirt road to the center of the field. A man in a suit stepped out of the back seat and the vehicle drove away. The man summoned Logan with a wave of his hand. As Logan approached, the helicopter lifted off and flew away.
Logan studied the man as he walked to him. He appeared to be in his 40’s, wearing a navy blue suit, white shirt and no tie. He had brown hair, slightly thinning, combed neatly to the side. He was fairly handsome, Logan thought. He had only seen a few paparazzi photos of Patrick until now, and none of them were clear enough to get a good idea of what he looked like.
“I’m Patrick,” he said.
“I’m Logan.”
“Thanks for meeting me here,” said Patrick, with a smirk. “It probably seems a bit odd.”
“I’ve worked with enough creative types to expect some oddness,” said Logan, smiling. “But this is the first time I’ve been chauffeured by helicopter.”
“How do you know I’m a creative type?” asked Patrick.
“I guess I don’t know for sure, but I’ve heard you own, like, fashion brands or something.”
“Don’t believe everything you hear,” Patrick scoffed.
“Fair enough,” replied Logan. “But I still think I get your vibe.”
“Oh yeah?” asked Patrick. “What kind of vibe?”
“A creative vibe. The way you rambled on our video chat, like your brain was overflowing. You didn’t know what you wanted to say but you were having tons of ideas.”
“Hmm,” said Patrick. He peered at Logan, studying him. “I’m definitely a creative type,” he said with a smile. “I figured there was really no way to show you what I’m about without just bringing you here.”
Logan took another look around the empty field.
Patrick was now removing his suit jacket. “I’m very creative. Creativity is my life.” He began unbuttoning his shirt.
Logan looked confused.
“If I try to explain what I do, people don’t understand,” said Patrick. “It’s much more efficient if I just show you.” Patrick removed his shirt.
Logan’s eyes grew wide with confusion, but he stayed quiet.
Patrick walked a few yards away and found a large mud puddle. He squatted down and took a handful of mud and began wiping it down both of his arms.
“Um, would you like me to join you?” Logan asked.
“Up to you,” said Patrick. “Either way is fine.” He continued to wipe mud across his chest and stomach.
Logan removed his jacket and shirt. He knelt beside Patrick and wiped mud across his chest and arms. “Nothing I haven’t done before,” said Logan.
“We’ll see,” replied Patrick. He stood up. “Here we go.”
They walked across the field, about twenty yards, to an outcrop of large rocks near the treeline. Patrick climbed over one of the rocks and stopped at an opening in the ground.
“A cave?” asked Logan.
“Yeah,” said Patrick.
“Shit.”
“Haha, don’t worry. It’s safe,” assured Patrick. He jumped into the hole and landed about 8 feet down. Logan followed. Patrick squatted down and started to make his way through a narrow opening.
“Ah, shit!” Patrick yelled and jumped.
Two bats came fluttering out of the opening, squeaking, then flew away.
“Fuck!” said Logan, swinging his arms. “I don’t do bats!”
“Haha, don’t worry,” said Patrick. “There’s usually only a few down here.”
“Only a few,” echoed Logan. “God. Alright, I’m coming. I’m trusting you. I’m adventurous, but I don’t do bats. Or snakes. Shit, are there snakes down here?”
Patrick had disappeared over a ledge. Logan followed him deeper underground. They crawled for a few minutes until the sunlight had completely disappeared. Patrick turned on his phone screen, casting just enough light for them to see one step at a time. They squatted and straddled over large rocks, making their way forward into the darkness.
Keep it together, Logan thought. He knows what he’s doing. I’m sure. I mean he’s doing it too. It can’t be that bad.
Finally Patrick stepped down onto what sounded like a pile of loose gravel and he stood upright. Logan followed and did the same. He could feel a draft of air and heard an echoing drip of water.
“Almost there,” said Patrick. He started walking straight ahead. Logan followed the sound of Patrick’s shoes on the gravel.
Now an actual breeze blew past Logan, giving him goosebumps. He folded his muddy arms across his bare chest and clutched his jacket and shirt against himself. “Damn,” he whispered.
Patrick stopped suddenly in place. Logan froze behind him.
Patrick didn’t make a sound. Logan’s eyes were opened so wide it hurt, trying to find even the faintest shadow. But it was no use; all he could see was black.
Logan could hear water flowing in front of them. Oh God, water. He listened for another second. He could hear splashing in the distance. A waterfall. He became afraid to take another step.
Just then a blinding white flash filled the cave, stunning Logan and making him stumble backward. The shock made his ears ring. For a moment, he couldn’t see or hear a thing.
“SHIT! What was that?!” he yelled once his hearing returned.
“Ah, sorry!” Patrick said back. “Nothing to be afraid of.”
“What?!” asked Logan. “Dude, I’m totally blind right now!”
“I’m sorry,” said Patrick. “Just give it a sec, you’ll be ok.”
“Alright,” said Logan. They stood in the dark cave for a moment while Logan rubbed his eyes. “Ok, I think it’s back now. Hard to tell in the dark.”
Patrick turned on his phone screen and handed it to Logan. It was a picture of Logan being blinded by the flashing light; his eyes were wide and mouth twisted.
“Oh damn, haha!” said Logan. “Is that what all this was for? That pic?”
“Nah,” said Patrick. “I mean I couldn’t resist getting the pic, but that’s not why we’re here.” Patrick took the phone back and tapped the screen a couple times.
Logan squinted. “Are you doing it again?”
“No,” said Patrick. With one more tap, a faint glow of blue light began to appear from beneath the stream in front of them. The moving water cast rippling reflections on the two men. The blue faded slowly to green.
“Oh my god,” said Logan, taking it in. “That’s beautiful!”
Then, above their heads, a purple glow began to appear, illuminating the distant cave ceiling. The purple faded into violet and then pink in a cascading effect. It was as if the light was sliding down the sides of the cave and dripping from the stalactites. Then glittering white lights sparkled like diamonds.
“No way!” Logan gasped. “Fucking stunning!”
Patrick smiled at him. “Yep. One more thing, come this way.”
Patrick walked beside the stream, further into the cave. As they walked, the sound of falling water grew louder and Logan noticed the glowing stream flowed faster. He was sure there was a waterfall but could only see darkness ahead.
Patrick stopped and tapped his phone. Logan heard a hydraulic whirring sound. The ground rumbled slightly. As Logan looked ahead, a light began to emerge like a vertical slit in the cave wall.
“No…fucking…way,” said Logan.
The dull roar of water grew louder. Bright lights began to appear, changing colors slowly; from pink to orange to purple. Two enormous sections of cave wall slid open to reveal a 30-foot waterfall and a stunning laser lightshow.
“Fuck no, fuck no, fuck no!” Logan covered his mouth and jumped up and down. “Unbelievable!” The shift in airflow sent a rush of wind, making his hair blow wildly.
Beams of light shot from the base of the waterfall, up through the water itself, making it look a column of pink liquid. A techno beat began to pump through the cave.
“Awww, no,” said Logan, smiling at Patrick. “What?” He began to move to the beat.
Patrick tapped his phone again and the cave went dark except for strobe lights and laser beams. He watched Logan’s silhouette flash in and out of the strobe lights as he broke into a full-on break dance. The cave walls reverberated the pulsing techno rhythm.
After a minute, Patrick turned down the volume and brought up the lights.
“Fucking sick!” shouted Logan. “Sick, man!” He was still covered in mud which had begun to dry, but his sweat was making it muddy again. Logan wiped his forehead.
“You like it?” asked Patrick.
“What? It’s fucking mind-blowing. Fuck!”
Logan spun around, still taking in the scene. “Is this even real?” His shouts were echoing from the ceiling.
“You want it?” said Patrick.
Logan jerked his head toward Patrick. He stared at him but said nothing.
“You want it?” Patrick paused. “You wanna make content here? Throw parties, that kind of stuff…whatever you want?”
Logan furrowed his big eyebrows and lurched his head forward. His jaw dropped open. “What the fuck are you talking about?”
Patrick chuckled. “Listen, man, it’s yours if you want it, but we’re just getting started so don’t flip out, haha.”
Logan tried to speak but could only make short gasps. He looked around the cave, then back down at his muddy arms.
“Ok, ok. Keep it together,” Logan said out loud to himself. “Listen, I know you’re Patrick Halliday. I know…well, I know almost nothing about you, actually. How the fuck you did this, or made this or whatever.” He paused. “I’m gonna try to keep it cool. This is probably just a little playground to you…but fuck!” He shook his head and shoulders, and bounced from side to side, trying to reset himself.
“I get it,” said Patrick. “I do…I get it. It’s…a lot. But…there’s a lot more.” He inhaled and looked around the cave, then pursed his lips in thought.
Logan was afraid that Patrick was second-guessing. “But listen! I’m about it!” Logan exclaimed. “I’ll cool down. I know this is like nothing to you, you’ve got stuff all around the world like this, this is just some little field in upstate New York…haha!”
Patrick smirked. “Yeah. I know. I mean…I know you get it…I think.”
“I do,” said Logan, relieved. “I mean, as much as I can.”
“I know,” replied Patrick. “I’m not worried about it. I mean, it’s a lot, but I know you’re up to it.” He paused.
“Yeah,” said Logan. “I’m up for it.”
“I just don’t want to overwhelm you,” said Patrick. “It’s not that you can’t handle it, I know you can. I just…I’m kinda crazy, haha.”
“Yeah?” Logan laughed.
“I mean, not crazy crazy, like…”
“Ah, ok,” said Logan with a smirk. “Here we go. We’re back to this. You’re trying not to be creepy, not to ask too much.”
“Um, sorta,” said Patrick.
“Ok,” said Logan. “Well…listen. I don’t know exactly what this is…still.” He chuckled nervously and rubbed his hands together. “But dude, like…damn! I am not worried about you…taking advantage of me or anything.”
Patrick looked at him.
“Like, all you’ve done so far is offered me stuff, you haven’t even asked me for anything. You’ve been crazy respectful, you’re clearly a classy, accomplished guy with, like, the reputation of a king…I haven’t seen any reason whatsoever to feel remotely uncomfortable around you.”
“I know,” Patrick said firmly. Logan’s comment seemed to reassure him. “Yeah man…yeah.”
“Ok, so just throw it at me, then. Like, throw me off the deep end. I’m ready, haha,” said Logan.
Patrick looked up at Logan and raised an eyebrow. “You ready for more?”
“Yeah, I’m ready. Bring it.”
“You brought your passport, right?” said Patrick.
“Ah damn, I sure did,” said Logan.
“Perfect.”
“Ok, so we’re outta here, then?” asked Logan.
“Yeah, let’s go,” said Patrick.
“Ok, but hang on,” said Logan. Patrick turned to face him. “What’s up with all the mud?”
Patrick smiled, knowingly.
“Why are you and I both covered in mud?”
Patrick didn’t answer.
“Is this some kind of test or something?”
“I just wanted to see if you’d be game. I wanted to see how adventurous you were…if you like to play along.”
“Damn,” said Logan, rubbing his chin. “Alright, alright. That’s cool,” he chuckled. “I hope you know by now that I’m game.”
“Yeah, I do,” said Patrick, turning away.
“But,” said Logan, unzipping his pants, “you’re gonna have to wait for me.” He pulled his pants and boxers down to the ground and stepped out of them, completely naked.
Patrick pursed his lips and smiled.
“I gotta clean this shit off,” said Logan, stepping into the stream. His body stiffened. “FUCK, that’s cold!” he shouted. “Goddamn!”
“Haha, yeah, it’s not heated right now,” said Patrick.
“Right now?” said Logan. He turned to face Patrick, his rippling abs and big pecs reflecting the glimmering blue light from below. Logan stepped from side to side, finding his footing in the icy water. He covered his package and fondled his balls a bit. “Jesus, you have a fucking underground heated waterfall.” He shook his head and bent forward, scooping up some water with both hands. He stood up and let the water fall down his chest and stomach, then over his soft cock and low-hanging balls, dripping back into the stream. He turned around, revealing his thick athletic ass. His cheeks shifted up and down with each step. He scooped up some more water. His ass cheeks spread as he bent over, revealing his reddish-pink, perfectly round hole.
Patrick bit his lip and looked away.
“Check me out!” shouted Logan. He splashed a handful of water over his shoulder at Patrick, then dove into the glimmering stream.
