Sanctuary – Thanos’ Space Throne
Gamora stood with her father facing forward in his chair. She had her hands behind her back, as a sign of respect but also due to her discipline. Her status as the daughter of Thanos as well as his advisor. Gamora was his favorite, and she knew it.
“Father, I am here as you requested,” she said.
It was apparent from the outset that Gamora was Thanos’ favorite. Her father did not subject her to torture as her step sibling Nebula. Rather, Gamora had her cybernetic enhancements placed in near painless procedures. She bore the scars on her face of the cybernetic skeletal system she had, but also the other things her father had placed inside of her.
For all of this, Gamora was a well-trained and deadly assassin. Her skills were unmatched and she earned the moniker “The Deadliest Woman in the Galaxy.” She had been under Thanos’ tutelage for nearly twenty-years, but it was favoritism which saw her way to her father’s graces. He always called her “Little One” and it was quite clear he gifted her the best armor for her and weaponry.
She was given leeway in her tasks, but did her job with proficiency.
Gamora knew on the one hand while her father had almost eradicated her home world, he spared her life and brought her into his domain. And for that…I should be grateful.
