I walk down the hall towards him and reach for his hand. “You didn’t get the signals wrong. I’m just surprised”
He looks at me and smiles. “Have dinner with me?”
“Sure. But can I get changed?”
“You look cute in your uniform. But sure. I actually picked out a dress. Its on your bed”
I smile and head to my bedroom to get dressed. In my bedroom as I get changed into the dress he laid out for me, I squeal a little bit. “He likes me?” I change into the dress and quickly fix my hair before walking out. I find the dining room table overlooking the ocean has roses and candles on it as well. “Wow” I whisper.
He turns around. “Do you like it?” He pulls out my chair for me.
I sit and smile. “I love it. Its beautiful. But can I ask why now? Why not years ago?”
He sighs as he sits on his chair across the table. “I didn’t want to ruin our friendship. I started falling for you in Uni. And watching you go out with all those guys was hard. But I didn’t want to lose my best friend. Someone said something about regretting the things they didn’t try and I just decided I should take this leap. I love you Maya. I have for quite a while now. But I understand if you don’t.” He looks down at the table.
I reach over and take his hand. “I love you too. I have since uni too.”
He looks up at me “But all those dates?”
“To get over you” i say and he laughs
“same thing for me”
—————————————————————-We enjoyed our dinner, getting along like we always had, however you could feel something different in the air. We moved to the couch afterwards, enjoying our wine as we talked.
“If we’re going to do this Drew, promise that we’ll always be friends”
He nods. “I don’t want to lose you. So if this isn’t working out than we know we can always go back to being friends. However, if I’m being honest. I would love for this to completely work out.”
I smile and scoot closer to him on the couch. “I’d like that too” I whisper, biting my lip as I look over at him.
He places down my wine before taking my hands in his. “Can I kiss you?” He whispers.
“Please do” I whisper and look at his lips. He leans in and our lips meet, locking onto one another sparks fly. I pull back and look at him. “Wow” I say very softly.
“Good wow?” He asks worried.
“The best wow” I say and smile at him.
“Good because there is plenty more where that came from” I giggle at his cheesy line and wrap my arms around his neck as he wraps his around my waist and starts standing slowly. I stand with him and he picks me up. Maintaining the kiss he holds my ass, my legs wrapped around him as I am carried to my room. He lays me down gently on the bed and continues kissing me passionately. His lips softly begin pulling away from mine, kissing my cheek than my neck down to my collarbone. His kisses are soft and delicate, full of love.
He stops and looks at me. “Are we rushing this?” He asks softly.
I place my hand on his cheek “I don’t think so. But if you want to wait we can.” He smiles slightly and shakes his head.
“Maya. You’re beautiful and I’m going to make sure you feel that way all the time.” His kisses continue trailing down my body again and he reaches to take my dress off. I let him slip it off and he smiles “even more beautiful now”.
I pull him back up to kiss him. “Please make love to me” I whisper “I want to know what you feel like”. He nods and I help him strip off. We both strip completely and I kiss him again with more intensity.
