The Pornomatrix, Part 2 [M] [Str]

Neo was sleeping when the words showed up on one of his computer screens.

*Wake up, Neo . . .*

He squinted. He sat up. Except for the words, the screen had gone black. He hit “ctrl-x” a few times but new letters began appearing.

“What?” he said.

First it was a “T”. Then an “H.” Neo kept inputting commands. His computer didn’t respond. Eventually it typed out:

*The Matrix has you . . .*

“What the hell?” Neo said.

He checked if his keyboard was connected. It was. He tried “ctrl-x” again but a new message printed itself on the screen.

*Follow the white rabbit.*

Neo rubbed his eyes. When he opened them his screen was still blacked out. Now the message read:

*Knock, knock, Neo.*

Neo almost jumped out of his chair. Someone was banging on the door. He looked back at the screen but it was showing the news articles he’d fallen asleep to.

Someone was still knocking on his door.

“Who is it?” Neo asked.

“It’s Choi.”

Neo unlocked his door. This took a while, and he left the chain on. A young Asian man stood on his doorstep with a few friends.

Neo frowned. “You’re two hours late,”

“I know,” Choi said. “It’s *her* fault.

His girlfriend smiled. There was cum drying on her lips.

“You got the money?” Neo asked.

“Two grand,” Choi said. He handed an envelope through the crack in the door.

“Hold on,” Neo said. He closed the door behind him and reached for a book. The book was hollow: inside was a wad of cash, some flash drives, and a rock hammer. He added the two grand to the wad and took out a flash drive.

“Hallelujah!” Choi said, when he got the drive. “You are my savior, man! My own personal Jesus Christ.”

“If you get caught using that—”

“I know, I know,” Choi said. “This never happened. You don’t exist.”

“Right.”

The world seemed to tilt. Neo gripped the doorframe.

“Something wrong, man?” Choi asked. “You look a little paler than usual.”

“I don’t know . . . My computer . . . You ever have the feeling where you’re not sure if you’re awake or still dreaming.”

Choi nodded. “All the time. It’s called mescaline and it’s the only way to fly. Sounds to me like you need to unplug, man.”

He turned to his girlfriend. “What do you think, should we take him with us?”

Choi’s girlfriend licked her lips and showed her teeth. “Definitely.”

“I can’t,” Neo said. “I have work tomorrow.”

“Come on,” she said. “It’ll be fun. I promise.”

She was wearing a trench coat and nothing else. As she moved, the coat fell open and Neo got a look between her legs. Tattooed over her cleft was a small white rabbit.

The room tilted again.

“Yeah,” Neo said. “Sure, I’ll go.”

The apartment was large, but the ceilings were low enough to touch. That’s what people did as they leaped to the music—they reached up and touched the ceiling. Neo couldn’t see through the smoke but he’d bet there were handprints everywhere.

Choi’s clique had gathered around a couch, where the man himself held court. People came by for a word or a smile and he greeted everybody. Choi knew everybody.

Neo didn’t, which is why he was leaning against a wall and sipping a beer.

One of his fellow wallflowers turned to him. Like Choi’s girl she had a beehive hairdo and a rubber top. Not that either of these things was uncommon in that room, but it was enough for Neo to look twice. This girl pouted, pointed at her lips, and with the other hand pointed at Neo’s crotch.

“Go right ahead,” Neo said.

She sank to her knees and opened her mouth. Neo pulled open his button-fly and eased his cock out. She looked up at him, once, and then got to work. She nibbled the sides of his shaft and licked it from its base to its tip.

Neo took a sip of beer. A blowjob was a blowjob but he felt like they should’ve introduced each other first.

“Hello, Neo,” Trinity said.

Neo blinked. She’d stepped out of the wall of bodies and he hadn’t noticed.

“How do you know my name?” he asked.

“I know a lot about you,” Trinity said. “I’ve been wanting to meet you for some time.”

She was rubbing herself through her plastic catsuit. One hand on her right breast, another hand on her thigh. A third woman, a redhead, was looking over her shoulder.

“I’m sorry, did you want . . .” Neo said. This happened sometimes, when someone was popular. “. . . wait, who are you?”

“My name is Trinity.”

“Trinity?” Neo said. “*The* Trinity? The one that cracked the IRC Kansas City d-base?”

“That was a long time ago.”

“Jee-zus,” Neo said. The girl on his cock made a *mmmmph* sound, like she was tired of being ignored.

“Sorry,” he said. “You want I should do something?”

*”Glurk,”* the girl said. “My nipples. Get my nipples.”

She pulled up her rubber top and showed him her dark little nipples. She indicated he should play with them. But he was still holding the beer, and there wasn’t a table . . .

He inserted the bottle in her hairdo and cupped her breasts.

“Anyway,” Neo said. “So you’re *the* Trinity?”

Trinity was still grabbing handfuls of herself through her catsuit. “That was a long time ago,” she said.

“Jesus,” Neo said. “I just thought . . . you were a guy.”

“Most guys do.”

Neo felt himself blush. He looked down at the girl giving him oral. She had hiked up her skirt and was fingering herself with one hand. The other hand was wrapped around his cock.

He looked at Trinity. “Do you want to go somewhere and talk?”

“No,” Trinity said. “It’s safe here and I don’t have much time.”

She’d taken a step so they could whisper into each other’s ears. She stood to one side to keep from straddling the girl’s head.

“That was you on my computer?” Neo asked. “How did you do that?”

“Right now, all I can tell you is that you’re in danger,” Trinity said. “I brought you here to warn you.”

“Of what?”

She took his hand and placed it over her pussy. “They’re watching you, Neo.”

He looked down. The girl on his cock only had eyes for his crotch.

“Who’s watching me?” Neo asked. He rubbed Trinity’s pussy through the plastic and she sighed.

“Please, just listen,” she said. “I know why you’re here, Neo. I know why you left your family and your friends, why you left home to come to this city. You’re looking for him.”

She held her body against him. Her lips were at his ear.

“I know because I came looking for the same thing, but when he found me, he told me I wasn’t really looking for him. I was looking for an answer.”

Neo felt the words seeping into him. The other girl dragged her tongue along the underside of his shaft, dragged it back and forth, his bottle sloshing in her hair.

“It’s the question that brought you here,” Trinity said. “You know the question just as I did.”

*”What is the Matrix?”* Neo asked.

Choi looked over at Neo. The hacker dude was leaning against the wall, making out with a chick in a catsuit. Another girl was on her knees, her head in Neo’s crotch. A redhead stood in front of them, shifting from one leg to another. She crossed and uncrossed her arms in impatience. As Choi watched, she also got down on her knees and started servicing Neo. A line of women had formed behind her.

“Sure is popular tonight,” Choi said.

“Mmmph?” said his girlfriend.

The alarm clock pulled Neo out of his sleep. He squinted at the clock. It was 9:15 AM.

“Shit.”

It was hard not to look at the window cleaners. The girls only wore hats, shoes, and sunscreen, and they hung from an arrangement of straps that kept their legs spread. One of them squeegee’d a line down the glass, giving Neo a view of her bush.

“You have a problem with authority, Mister Anderson,” his boss said. He didn’t look up from his computer. “You believe that you are special, that somehow the rules do not apply to you.”

He glanced up at Neo, who barely managed to look away from the window.

“Obviously, you are mistaken,” said Neo’s boss. He resumed typing. “This company is one of the top software companies in the world because every single employee understands that they are part of a whole. Thus, if an employee has a problem, the company has a problem.”

The window-cleaner girl pressed herself up to the window, flattening her tits against the soapy glass. Her pussy reminded Neo of an aquarium catfish.

His boss turned again.

“The time has come to make a choice, Mr. Anderson. Either you choose to be at your desk on time from this day forth, or you choose to find yourself another job. Do I make myself clear?”

Neo risked a glance out the window. The girl had stuck a suction dildo at crotch-height and another at head-height.

His boss coughed. “I said, do I make myself clear?”

“Yes, Mr. Rhineheart,” Neo said. “Perfectly clear.”

Neo slumped in his chair, which squeaked. It always did that, but that wasn’t the worse part about work. It wasn’t the size of his cubicle either, although it was cramped. No, the worse part of work was his workstation, which had a single bulky monitor and less computing power than one of his laptops. It looked and ran like something out of the 80’s.

Once again he wished he could use his own equipment. But it was against the rules.

“Thomas Anderson?”

Neo looked up. There was a FedEx man in front of his cubicle.

“Yeah,” Neo said. “That’s me.”

The FedEx man handed him a package. “Have a nice day,” the man said.

Neo opened the package. Inside was a cellphone, one of those old feature phones. He picked it up and it rang.

“Hello?” Neo said.

*”Hello, Neo.”*

It wasn’t a voice so much as a sound. It promised you things. Suddenly Neo had a tentpole in his pants.

There was a chuckle on the other end, as if the woman could see his erection. “Do you know who this is?” she asked.

“Oneira . . .” he said.

She purred. *”I’ve been looking for you, Neo. I don’t know if you’re ready to see what I want to show you—”*

She giggled.

*”—but unfortunately we have run out of time. They’re coming for you, Neo. And I’m not sure what they’re going to do.”*

“Who’s coming for me?” Neo asked.

*”Stand up and see for yourself. Do it slowly. The elevator.”*

Neo peeked over the partition. Half a dozen cops, two women in plainclothes, and a coworker who was pointing in his direction.

Neo ducked. “Darn! What the fiddle do they want with me?”

*”I’m not sure,”* Oneira said. *But if you don’t want to find out, you better get out of there. I can guide you, but you have to do exactly what I say.”*

Neo could hear footsteps. The cops were almost there.

*”The cubicle across from you is empty,”* Oneira said. *”Go! Now!”*

Neo dove into the other cubicle just as the cops turned into his row. The hacker crammed himself into a corner, the phone clamped to his ear.

*”Stay there for a moment,”* Oneira whispered.

The two women entered Neo’s cubicle. One of them sent a cop to search the bathroom.

*”A little longer . . . When I tell you, go to the end of the row to the first office on the left. Stay as low as you can.”*

There were beads of sweat on Neo’s forehead. He could feel them start to trickle together.

*”Now.”*

Neo crouch-walked out of the cubicle, right behind a cop who had just turned away. Still keeping his head under the partitions, Neo crept away, then jumped into the first office on the left.

The office was empty.

*”Good,”* Oneira said. *”Now there is a window. Open it.”*

“How do you know all this?” Neo asked.

She laughed. *”The answer is coming, Neo.”*

He opened the window and the air howled into the room.

*”Outside, there’s a scaffold. You can use it to get to the roof.”*

Neo leaned out of the window. The scaffold was several offices away.

“No!” he said. “It’s too far!”

*”There’s a small ledge. It’s a short climb. You can make it.”*

Neo looked down. It was like staring into a bottomless trench.

“No way, no way, this is crazy.”

*”There are only two ways out of this building. One is that scaffold. The other is in their custody. You take a chance either way. I leave it to you.”*

*Click.* She hung up.

Neo looked at the door, then back at the scaffold.

Neo sat at the table. He was alone, but the security camera on the ceiling was pointed straight at him.

The door opened and the two women walked in. The one in slacks took a position behind him. The one in the skirt sat across from him. She slapped an overstuffed folder onto the table. The folder had his name on it.

The woman smiled. “As you can see, we’ve had our eye on you for some time now, Mr. Anderson.”

She opened the file. Papers rattled as she flipped them. She still had her sunglasses on, so Neo couldn’t tell if she was looking at the file or at him.

“It seems that you have been living two lives. In one life, you are Thomas A. Anderson, program writer for a respectable software company. You have a social security number, you pay your taxes and you . . . help your landlady carry out her garbage.

She continued to turn the pages.

“The other life is lived in computers, where you go by the hacker alias Neo, and are guilty of virtually every computer crime we have a law for.”

Neo felt himself sinking.

“One of these lives has a future,” she said. “One of them does not.”

She closed the file. “I’m going to be as forthcoming as I can be, Mr. Anderson. You are here because we need your help. I’m Agent Smith, by the way. My colleague over there is Agent Brown.”

Smith removed her sunglasses. Her eyes were a hard, bright green.

“We know that you have been contacted by a certain individual. A woman who calls herself Oneira. Whatever you think you know about her is irrelevant to the fact that she is wanted for acts of terrorism in more countries than any other person in the world. She is considered by many authorities to be the most dangerous woman alive.

Smith leaned closer. She never broke eye contact. “My colleagues believe that I am wasting my time with you, but I believe you want to do the right thing. It is obvious that you are an intelligent man, Mr. Anderson, and that you are interested in the future. That is why I believe you are ready to put your past mistakes behind you and get on with your life.”

Neo stared back at her.

She smiled. “We are willing to wipe the slate clean, to give you a fresh start and all we are asking in return is your . . . cooperation . . . in bringing a known terrorist to justice.”

Neo nodded. “Yeah. Wow. That sounds like a real good deal. But I think I have a better one. How about I give you the finger—”

He gave her the finger.

“—and you can cram that file up your sphincter.”

Agent Smith put her glasses back on. “You disappoint me, Mr. Anderson.”

“You can’t scare me with this Gestapo stuff,” he said. I know my rights. I want my phone call!”

The agent smiled. It was another smiled that confined itself to her mouth. “And tell me, Mr. Anderson, what good is a phone call if you are unable to . . . speak?”

The muscles in his jaw tightened. He tried to say something, but couldn’t. He tried again but his lips were stuck together.

“Mmmph!”

Agent Brown giggled.

Neo felt his lips grow soft and sticky. They sealed shut, melding together until his mouth disappeared. Now there was just skin.

He lunged for the door, but the agents grabbed him and slammed him face-down on the table.

“You are going to help us, Mr. Anderson,” Agent Smith said. “Whether you want to or not.”

She took out several pairs of handcuffs and started chaining him down. He struggled, but Agent Brown twisted his arm. Smith cuffed his legs to the table and his wrists to the far corners. She finished with his right wrist and nodded at Brown. The agent used the same shocking strength she’d demonstrated to rip his pants off his body.

Smith reached into her suit coat and pulled out something phallic and black. Neo’s eyes widened and he struggled in his bonds but he could only watch as the female agent slipped the device inside her mouth.

“You’re lucky,” Agent Brown said. “She doesn’t always lubricate it.”

Smith popped it out of her mouth, saliva trailing from the black metallic thing. She smacked her lips and Neo found himself rock-hard.

The agent walked around behind him. Neo felt something cold, and then she was pushing the device inside of him.

“Mmmmph,” he said.

Then the thing started *squirming.*

“Mmmmmmmph!” he said. He bucked on the table but it was no use, the device burrowed and slithered deeper inside his rectum. It felt fleshy and warm, like a disembodied cock.

A hand gripped his erection. Another hand pressed him into the table. He turned and saw Agent Smith smiling. The probe pushed deeper and that’s when he orgasmed.

Screaming, Neo sat up in his bed.

He was home. Had it only been a dream? He touched his mouth—it was right there. He rocked on his butt. It felt fine. He was about to take a deep breath when the phone rang.

He answers it, saying nothing.

*”This line is tapped so I must be brief,”* Oneira said. *”They got to you first, but they’ve underestimated how important you are. If they knew what I know, you would probably be dead.”*

“What do you know?” Neo asked.

*”You are the One, Neo. You see, you may have spent the last few years looking for me, but I’ve spent most of my life looking for you.”*

The room tilted. Neo felt sick.

*”Do you still want to meet?”* she asked. *”Go to the Adams Street bridge.”*
