I wouldn’t mind the change in pace.
Use it to make good erotica great, but it’s not a kink. I wouldn’t present it as the headline attribute of an erotic story. Readers are browsing erotica to get off, not to get a laugh, so the first box you have to tick is the sexy one.
If they get off but don’t laugh, that’s still a win. However the reverse is not true.
The best sex does have humor in it.
