You work in a youth centre, called “Babylon.” It’s for people just out of high school, who still live at home and just want to have a place to hang out and drink. This makes it the perfect place for you and your friends.
The place looks like a bar/disco type of thing. When you enter through the double red doors, you first come into the reception hall. This is where you can usually pay the entrance fee, or when it’s a closed night, here is where they will check if you’re on the guest list.
When you can enter, you have to go through the wardrobe, where you can leave everything safely. Once you’ve done, you will enter the bar and dancefloor. On your right is a huge mahogany bar, with about five beer taps, and large black stools around the side of it. Usually two people will be at the bar.
You will find the dancefloor and stage on the left hand side of the room. The floor is a neutral blue color, with black walls surrounding the whole of the room. Though much of it has been painted on, like pictures of David Bowie, Pulp Fiction and other elements of pop culture.
The stage is not a very big one, but it’s big enough for a band or a dj-set. The stage is a plaform of about half a meter higher than the dancefloor. On the ceiling hang about two dozen lamps, spread over the stage and dancefloor. And in the middle is a huge mirror ball, reflecting all the different colors of light.
Directly to your left when you enter the room, there is a door. This door leads to an inside smoking area. The smoking area is filled with standing tables, and surrounded by glass doors that lead to the huge garden.
The garden is connected to a huge lake, where you and your friends like to swim if the weather is right. The garden itself is also ideal if you just want to lay about in the sun. Which you do a lot too, often when the bar is closed.
But tonight, the bar is opened. And you’re supposed to work. It’s supposed to be busy, but that’s all the more fun, isn’t it?
The story starts at the first party of the night. You have bar duty with one of your friends. But who is it? You can choose on which girl(s)/boy(s) to focus, and which friends you want to help get laid. But do it all while keeping the businness afloat. Can you work and fuck at the same time? Choose carefully.
Author’s note: For all the author’s out there who want to contribute, please feel free! My hope is to make this a big game, with many different plots and endings. So gather your best ideas, and add them on the pile. To make it easier, I gave descriptions of the characters next to this text!
